Regina Argentin and Luis Sanchez

On First Thursday, February 2nd , next to the Warner Grand Theatre in San Pedro, CA, there was a public celebration to unveil the new mural created in the Lilyan Fierman Walkway by Pac Arts resident, Luis Sanchez. L.A. City Councilman Joe Buscaino spoke about the mural and presented certificates honoring their work to Luis and his mural assistant, Regina Argentin, who also lives at Pac Arts. Afterwards, we celebrated the opening of our new group exhibit, “Art Tank,” which features the work of seven resident artists. The First Thursday Arts Walk tour group made a special visit to our Pac Arts gallery and were given a tour of this wonderful artists’ colony.
