News from Cotton’s Point: A Musical Interlude

Residents at Cotton’s Point Senior Apartments in San Clemente, CA, enjoyed singing along and listening to entertainer Mike Chamberlin recently. Mike has been performing professionally for almost 50 years, and continues to perform for the 55+ communities throughout the West and Southwest. He sang love songs from World War II, and shared stories about the songs and their time period. Residents were taken back in time, recalling those days while singing along with their neighbors. They enjoyed a holiday potluck and raffle, too. Mike Chamberlin’s cds, “Love Songs of World War II” and “Storyteller,” were raffled off for the residents to enjoy.
