Tim Carpenter at Summit on Creative Aging in America

EngAGE Founder and Executive Director Tim Carpenter will present two talks at The Summit on Creative Aging in America: A Pre-Conference to the 2015 White House Conference on Aging on May 18th in Washington, D.C.

The purpose of the Summit is to gather recommendations for the field of creativity and aging. The Summit will bring together practitioners, policymakers, and researchers from the field to contribute to the larger White House Conference on Aging (WHCoA), which is tentatively scheduled for late July 2015. The Summit on Creative Aging in America will be co-hosted by the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) and the National Center for Creative Aging (NCCA).

While the Summit is an invitation-only event, the public will have an opportunity to listen in and contribute to parts of the day’s conversation through a curated Twitter conversation. The general sessions will be webcast and highlights from the day will be featured. To participate in the conversation, please use the twitter hashtag #CreativeAgeSummit. Salient points will be pulled into the group’s discussion at various times throughout the day. For information on the timeline for these online conversations, please see the day’s agenda.
