Resident’s Birthday Celebration: This month was Jarome’s birthday and he loves to sing. He and his wife Carol like to write music and perform together. This last October they won Silver medals at the Senior Olympics for their singing. Jarome had written a song that he passed around so everyone could read and then, after we sang “Happy Birthday” to him, he serenaded all of us with a song about being grateful for having love in his life. The acoustics in the community room are particularly good and Jarome sang with heartfelt passion. He got a round of thunderous applause when he was done and you can see how it made him feel here in these pictures. Click to enlarge them!
