This special “PDX All Ages Radio Story Hour” is the culminating performance of a unique storytelling collaboration between EngAGE, Community Development Partners, Friendly House, the Multnomah Arts Center, and AARP Oregon. The program will be broadcast later in November on EngAGE’s weekly radio show, Experience Talks, on KPFK-FM Los Angeles, and other Pacifica Network stations. The program also streams live at

EngAGE takes a whole-person approach to community and creative, healthy living by providing arts, wellness, lifelong learning, community building and intergenerational programs to thousands of residents in affordable senior and multi-generational apartment communities in Southern California, Oregon, and Minnesota.

Friendly House is a non-profit neighborhood center and social service agency that delivers EngAGE programming in Portland.

The Multnomah Arts Center (MAC) provides excellent arts education in the visual and performing arts at an affordable cost to students of all ages. Along with a vibrant arts education program, MAC hosts theater, music and dance performances, gallery exhibitions, and other special events.
