News from Metro Compton: Technology

EngAGE knows the value of technology, so we help our older adults get comfortable with it. From an article in the New York Times: “Learning new technology skills helps lessen isolation, gerontologists say, keeps the brain active with games, and allows older people to monitor their own health more closely. A robust digital toolbox can even jump-start new careers.” Here are two residents at the Metro @ Compton Senior Apartments in Compton, CA, taking advantage of the community’s computer room.
