BSAC hosted a massive 4th of July party and invited residents from both NoHo Senior Arts Colony and The Piedmont Senior Apartments, also in North Hollywood. With over 80 people in attendance, the entire first floor of BSAC was filled with patriotic party-goers mingling, eating, and dancing to the AMAZING Beatles tribute band, The Beatunes. Resident Esther Fernandez’s daughter, Jennie Kwan, helped organize the music. She also generously offered to man the grill and brought goodies for the residents to snack on. It was such a fun day and we had many requests for the band to return for our annual Halloween extravaganza.
