News from Long Beach Senior Arts Colony: Urban Gardeners

Uma Nicole, Native Angeleno, Certified Master Gardener, Yoga & Meditation Instructor and philanthropist, is dedicated to improving society by creating opportunities that foster stronger cross-cultural and inter-generational connections.  She is pretty handy with power tools, as well as kitchen appliances, and can be found at any given moment, teaching yoga, exploring her passion for gastronomy, or in the garden communing with the earth. Uma truly believes that there has never been a better time to find new and exciting ways that will unify communities with a new paradigm of mindfulness and environmental responsibility. She is currently helping the gardening group from the Long Beach Senior Arts Colony.
