News from Burbank Senior Artists Colony: Indian Luncheon

Local Burbank residents Serykah Aggerwhil and her family returned to Burbank Senior Artists Colony to host their bi-monthly Indian luncheon. This month Serykah showed BSAC residents regional dishes from where she grew up in northern India. The room was decorated with colorful mandalas and Punjabi music played while the residents enjoyed their tasty meal and Indian ambiance.

Residents enjoy Chana Dal, a vegetarian dish prepared in the style of Northern India.

Residents Vartoohi, Jo Lynda Blake, and her daughter taste the tandoori rice and naan prepared by our volunteers.

Waiting for the grand finale: a pistachio and honey dumpling.
