News from Long Beach Senior Arts Colony: Reader’s Theater

Reader’s Theater is led by a former stage manager and writer, and meets
weekly to read short plays out loud to share the group’s passion for the Dramatic Arts
and forge lasting friendships. “Life as We Live It” brought down the house with a
theatrical event of four short one-act comedic plays.

Each of the cast members assembled their own costumes and props, and entertained the enthusiastic audience. The troupe looks forward to their next dinner theater production in June. — Barbara Fay, Reader’s Theater Resident Director
