Experience Talks Rewind: Housing Alternatives for Older People

Experience Talks will be preempted for one more week (10/31) for the KPFK Fund Drive, so we’d like to call your attention to a previously broadcast show on a topic of interest to older people and most certainly to EngAGE: housing.

Listen here to a 2014 “Experience Talks” radio show hosted by Cynthia Friedlob that features author Beth Baker discussing her book, With a Little Help from Our Friends: Creating Community as We Grow Older, which presents a number of housing alternatives for older people.  The show was recorded live with an audience at the North Hollywood Senior Arts Colony.

There’s also a Q&A session that took place after the interview. You can hear that here.

We think that living in an EngAGE community is a great way to age in a vibrant setting that offers many creative and social opportunities. How are you spending or planning to spend your older years?
