Here’s the latest from Piedmont Senior Apartments in North Hollywood!

Country Day School Mentoring Program: This unique intergenerational program buddies seniors and 4th grade students to create art, history, and socio-cultural community projects. Working together, seniors and students made collages that described who they are, what they like, and how they feel. “Turns out, my young friend and I have a few things in common!” said a resident as she pointed at her collage and then her student’s.

Field Trip – Active Excursions: Fitness trainer Jack Witt loves living in Los Angeles and wants to share that love with EngAGE residents, so he takes them on tours of local sites. Recently, several residents enjoyed a visit to Frank Lloyd Wright’s famous Hollyhock House in Barnsdall Park in Los Angeles.
