Two talented artists, both with studios at The Brewery in downtown L.A., share their stories and unique perspectives on the art world.  Both artists have exhibited extensively, and both have many collectors of their work.

Ada Pullini Brown is a painter and educator. She was born in New York City where she began her art education at the High School of Art and Design, and later earned her BA in Studio Art at Queens College of the City University of New York. She earned her Master of Fine Arts as a Teaching Fellow at University of Houston.  Ada is a Professor of Drawing and Painting at Rio Hondo College and the Director of ArTravel Workshops, a travel and painting program of the Brentwood Art Center. Jill Sykes-2

Jill Sykes was born and raised in Los Angeles. She was trained at Otis Art Institute in L.A. and at the Academy of Art/Lone Mountain College in San Francisco. She has worked as a Graphic Designer and Illustrator in the fields of Film and Business Advertising, Animation, and Educational Media, as well as designing and implementing countless corporate logos. Over time her work became focused on painting, and in the late 1990’s she enrolled at the Santa Monica School of Design, Art & Architecture. Learn more here.
