We’re pleased to announce the recent groundbreaking for the Glendale Arts Colony, a new community in Glendale, CA, designed for families of working artists and built in conjunction with a $5.5-million YMCA of Glendale makeover.

The new mixed-use Arts Colony, developed by Meta Housing Corp. with arts programming run by the nonprofit EngAGE, will feature homes for artists, artist studios, a ground-floor public gallery for artists’ work, and art classes for the public.

The LEED Silver-certified colony opens in Fall 2016.  [UPDATE 11/17/16: All apartments have been rented! Thank you for your interest.]

This is a post from March of 2015, and the page must be out-of-date. See our current post (4/12/16) about this property here: http://blog.engagedaging.org/archives/19673 (You may have to copy and paste into your browser).

I see that the website for the community is not yet operating, but you can call 800-231-0736 for information. Please notice that there are workshops happening this week where you can learn about applying. Good luck!
