Vietnam War Vets Reconnect With Their 1960s Pen Pals For a Museum Donation

FYI“Like many school groups last Friday, Mrs. Jerry Davis’ fourth graders marched through the halls of the National Museum of American History. The group was from Camden, New Jersey, but their journey was more than just a school bus ride; Davis’ students are now in their late 50s and recently reconnected over items they had saved from a pen pal program [with soldiers] that began during the Vietnam War.
